In 1997, Zhang Shuangqi in Luoyang, Henan province picked up an abandoned(被遗弃的) baby girl beside the road.
Zhang took the girl home and raised her as his daughter. He named her Zhang Baige. “My father’s family is not rich,” Zhang Baige said. “He also did not have any experience raising a child. It was hard for him, but he didn’t give up.”
