My View on Chemical Works

对于化学工厂的看法

I hate chemical works.

我讨厌化工厂。

I live in a small town.

我住在一个小乡镇上。

A few years ago, my favorite thing in summer was to swim in the river near my house.

几年前，我夏天最喜欢的事情就是在我家附近的河里游泳。

But now I can’t because of the chemical works.

但现在因为化工厂我不能这样做了。

The chemical works let out a lot of dirty water into the river.

化工厂把大量的污水排到河。

The river becomes very dirty, so I couldn’t swim in it anymore.

河水变得非常脏，所以我再也不能在里面游泳了。

This is the reason why I hate chemical works.

这就是为什么我讨厌化工厂的原因。
