一、听句子,选出句子中所包含的信息。
  
  本题型主要是考查学生捕捉句子中关键信息的能力。一般所给的四个选项的读音都比较接近,若放在句子中考查,还是有一定难度的。如:时间、地点、人物名称,关键数字等。当试卷上出现含有阿拉伯数字的选项时应特别注意,由于这类题有一个阿拉伯数字转换或英文数字语音的反应过程,所以要加强对表示数量、时刻、年月日、编号、电话号码等数词的英文读法的练习。
  
  例如:A. October3rd, 1989
  
  B.August 3rd, 1999
  
  C.October 1st, 1999
  
  D.August 1st, 1989
  
  录音材料:I was bornon October 3rd, 1989.
  
  这时就需要你首先读准单词,知道词与词之间读音的不同,才能判断哪一个是正确答案。在本题中还有可能出现听力答案和听力材料是相同的内容,但却是以不同的方式出现的。
  
  例如:A. This isthe best magazine.
  
  B. The magazine is about TV programs.
  
  C. Get me the magazine, please.
  
  D. The person likes reading magazines.
  
  录音材料:Would yougo and get me the magazine, dear? It’s on top of the TV.
  
  这就需要我们完全理解录音材料的句意,才能选出正确的答案C。
  
  二、听句子,选出该句的最佳答语。
  
  这样的题型既考查了学生的听力,又考查了学生的社会交际中的英语语言知识,这就需要学生们了解在特定的情景下如何更恰当地回答这个问题。
  
  例如:
  
  A. You’re welcome.
  
  B. Nice talking to you, too.
  
  C. Yes, let’s have a talk.
  
  D. Very well, thank you.
  
  录音材料:Well, it’sbeen very nice talking to you.
  
  这就需要学生们抓住关键词,还要了解中西方文化的差异,选择B。
  
  三、听对话和问题,选择适当的选项。
  
  本题型不再是简单的图画,而是根据对话的内容选择能回答问题的选项。在听对话时,最好边听边记,用自己平时熟悉的标记和符号,简单记录一下重要的信息,尤其是数字、时间、日期、人名、地名、所发生的事件等细节,这样有助于形成完整的对话,以备核对复查。
  
  例如:A. 26cents.   B. 60 cents.  C. 30 cents.   D. 13 cents.

  这就需要同学们对出现的两个数字做一下简单的记录,还要听清最终的问题是什么?再做一计算,这样才能选出正确的答案D。
  
  四、听短文和问题,选择正确答案。
  
  2004年中考把本题型内容增大,增至三篇材料。从听力材料的内容含量来看要求明显加强。这就需要学生们加强对这种题型的练习。在听短文时,需要学生做到边听边记,不能光凭大脑记忆,一听而过,而要养成听音过程中边听边手记的习惯,这样做有助于解决每一个小题,在选择时才更有把握。一般的短文理解中,大多数问题的答案可以从听力材料中直接获取,关键是要善于辨别出提供选项的重要信息和细节,短文材料的内容要比对话材料更多、更深、更广,除了一些人名、地名、日期、数字之外,还有事件发生的地点、时间及原因,或是行为发生的方式、方法、条件和结果等。因此只有听懂并记住这些重要信息与细节,才能选出正确答案。

  在听这篇短文时,需要学生对一些地点时间、原因、结果等做一个简单的记录,还要认真听清问题才能做出正确的答案:

  五、听对话填空。
  
  本题型不是简单地填单词了,而是考查学生对篇章的理解能力和正确获取信息的能力。这是一种综合性较强的试题,这就要求学生在听懂短文或对话的基础上,还要能把所听的此信息用文字表达出来,补全的内容是录音中的某些关键信息。学生事先阅读试卷上提供的文字材料。(这些文字材料不是录音的原文,而是以提纲的形式再现的录音主要内容。)这样在听材料时,就更有目标,更能抓住关键词。

  在做本题时,还要注意材料是以第一人称叙述的。而学生填空时则应该以第三人称来填。所以第78小题的答案应是:(to)do the/his/some farm work或withthe/his farm work,第80小题的答案则是:hisown farm a farm (of his own)。
